Buyers are reminded to get in now or miss out on one of eight high-quality acreage properties in the Mary Valley which are likely to be snapped up at auction this Saturday, December 8.

Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Jeff Seeney said buyers from Queensland and interstate had already shown keen interest in the State-owned properties.

“More than 150 people have contacted agent Ray White or registered to bid and more than 1800 people have visited the website dedicated to the auction,” Mr Seeney said.

“The number of inspections is also encouraging with the foot traffic telling us people are really keen to buy these properties.”

Mr Seeney said the auction would be run through the innovative Helmsman auction system to take the anxiety out of the auction process.

“All properties will be put on the market simultaneously and bidders can see the progress of each property at all times via eight individual displays showing the bids,” he said.

“Buyers will be able to bid on any number of properties at once and see at a glance how their bids are going.

“Put simply - the Helmsman system allows buyers to bid on and buy any property and pay competitive market value without any pressure.”

Mr Seeney said all the properties had the added advantage of already having houses on them which were being offered as a vacant possession.

The properties will go under the hammer at 10.30am on 8th December at the Marriott Hotel in Brisbane.

  • 29 Middle Creek Road, Federal – 2.21ha*
