The Honourable Jeff Seeney

The Queensland Government has launched a new website to help facilitate access to State-owned Mary Valley properties suitable for economic development and residential use.

Deputy Premier and Minister for State Development, Infrastructure and Planning Jeff Seeney said the site www.maryvalleyproperty.com.au would offer a “one-stop-shop” for interested buyers and business investors.

“The site is easy to navigate and will provide information about economic development opportunities, government-owned properties available for sale in the Mary Valley, as well as things that are happening in the community,” Mr Seeney said.

“It also provides a property search function similar to popular real estate websites which means buyers will be able to easily find which properties are for sale—and submit an enquiry about any property they are interested in.

“The location map will show all properties in the portfolio and highlight properties that are for sale.

“And a ‘Street View’ function, courtesy of Google Maps, will also be enabled to help buyers from outside the Mary Valley area get a good look at the general locality.”

The website will highlight a range of different marketing initiatives, including economic development opportunities, the existing tenant purchase scheme and open market sales.

It will provide information and simple online registration to ensure interested buyers can access information and register to be kept informed about future releases.
